And...
I nearly died today.
Really.
It all started when I went to the bookshop today.
I looked at the magazines,and saw that Lime Magazine had the Audition installation CD,and that there was an article about Ronin.
Finding sufficient justification to get the magazine,I went in and paid the lady three dollars.
I noticed the words SINGAPORE IDOL GIANT POSTER on the cover of the newspaper,and immediately the name of one of my classmates (the only one to openly confess her love for a Singapore Idol contestant to the usually apathetic me) flashed in my head.In Broadway lights.
Yes,I would give the poster to her.After all,it didn't seem like anyone else'd come and stab me with a dagger or something.
But they nearly did.
I went into 2C and told her,
"I've got something you want."
She was silent for the moment,as I reached in and pulled the staples holding it down away from the poster,before handing it to her.
"OH MY GOD YOU'RE GIVING IT TO ME?!?!?!"
Several of my other classmates stood up to look at us.
I said yes,I was giving it to her.
She was high,to use a near-appropriate word.
"THANKYOUTHANKYOUTHANKYOU!!!"
The next thing I knew,two arms clung to my neck and would not let go.
I felt her warmth against mine,but before all of you get the wrong idea,I shall return to the main subject matter.
I was choking.
With what was possibly my dying breath I yelled,"ARGH MURDER!!!AAAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
My whole life flashed before...ah never mind.It stopped after about one nanosecond.
She let go and said Thank You.
I told her she was welcome,but my throat still hurt,
There's still a little blockage in my neck,but it's settled.
A couple of my classmates still harbour a little bit of a grudge towards me though.
It'll be solved soon enough.I hope.
